Practical OT support for educators, children and families
Our School & Kindy Connect service brings experienced paediatric occupational therapy support directly to schools, kindergartens, early learning centres and childcare services.
We work alongside educators to build their confidence, strengthen inclusive practice and develop practical strategies that support children to participate, learn, play and thrive in their everyday environments.
How we can help
We offer flexible support tailored to the needs of your school or early learning service, including:
Staff education and professional development
Practical, engaging education sessions for teachers, educators and support staff on topics such as:
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Supporting attention and engagement
- Fine motor and handwriting development
- School readiness
- Supporting neurodivergent children

- Supporting children with developmental differences

Consultation and collaboration
We can work with educators to understand areas of concern and identify practical strategies that can be embedded into everyday routines, classroom activities and play.

Our occupational therapists can observe classroom or early learning environments and provide recommendations to improve participation, regulation, independence and inclusion.
Whole-group programs and workshops
We can develop sessions for groups of children, educators or families around areas such as school readiness, fine motor development, regulation, sensory development and everyday participation.
Parent information sessions
We can also provide parent workshops through your school or centre, helping families better understand child development and giving them practical strategies they can use at home.
